Our Story
Dead Witness Studio was founded in 2024 by Batuhan Gündüz, with the vision of bringing cinematic storytelling into the digital world. Our goal is to create atmospheric, story-driven experiences that both immerse and captivate players and viewers.
In the gaming field, we served as producer, publisher, and creative director for the horror titles Y. Village – The Visitors and Apartment No 129, both released in 2024. These games were launched not only on Steam, but also on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Our Projects
We are currently working on new horror projects that focus on emotional intensity and narrative depth. Our upcoming titles, Eilean Mòr: The Lost Keepers and Antichrist, both planned for release in 2026, aim to bring a new level of storytelling to the horror genre.
Eilean Mòr is inspired by the mysterious disappearance of three lighthouse keepers in 1900 Scotland, while Antichrist tells the psychological horror story of a journalist investigating a house said to belong to the Antichrist. Both games will be available on Steam and all major consoles.
Film & Documentary
Beyond gaming, Dead Witness Studio is also active in film and documentary production. In 2020, we produced the feature film "Y. Köyü – Ye'cüc Me'cüc", which was shown in cinemas across Turkey.
We are currently working on a documentary that explores the real-life mysteries behind both the film and the game Y. Village – The Visitors.
Our Vision
At Dead Witness Studio, we see horror not just as an emotion, but as a form of storytelling. In every project, we trace the dark footprints of the past — and rewrite the unresolved.
"The unresolved past is being rewritten."
Welcome to the witness.
